PURPOSE: A power supply system in which EGS power plant and intermittent renewable energy are combined and a method using the same are provide to promote reduction of greenhouse gases and enhance the importance of intermittent renewable energy with settled supply. CONSTITUTION: An EGS(Enhanced Geothermal System) power plant(2) creates the electric power using the geothermal fluid which is created from EGS as heat source and supplies to an electric power system(1). The EGS power plant combines with a management system and a method of the EGS power plant and is constructed in an electric power system region. A renewable energy power plant(5) are constructed in the electric power system region and creates the electric power using intermittent renewable energy. The renewable energy power plant supplies the electric power to the electric power system enough to accept and transmits the electric power left to the EGS power plant in order to use for operating air compressors. A renewable energy air compression station is constructed in an electric power system region in case renewable energy air compression station has cost benefit than a case of constructing the renewable energy power plant. The renewable energy air compression station transmits the compressed air which is created by a separate air compressor to compressed air storage tank(7).
