PURPOSE: A method of attaching a flange to a metal dual pipe is provided to prevent the deformation of a core pipe by welding heat by supplying cooling water to a casing pipe. CONSTITUTION: A method of attaching a flange to a metal dual pipe follows. An end part of a metal duplex tube pipe(20) is closely adhered to the inner side insertion part(35) of a flange(30). An end part of the flange and casing pipe is welded on the outside of the casing pipe. A cooling water supply part, for supplying cooling water to the inside of a core pipe, cools the welding part of the core pipe during a welding process.
