TEXT SUMMARIZING SYSTEM, METHOD OF SUMMARIZING TEXT, AND TEXT SUMMARIZING PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that in a method of selecting important sentences and then rearranging them for creating a summary, an easily readable summary cannot be made however the important sentences are rearranged.

SOLUTION: This text summarizing technology involves steps of: storing a weight parameter for the feature as combination considering the order of two feature elements and a sentence element score for a sentence element constituting a sentence; extracting the feature elements from a text to be input; determining a content score of each sentence using the sentence element score for the sentence element contained in each sentence; determining a continuous score of the sentence using the feature element and the weight parameter extracted in a feature element extraction part; searching for the sentence sequence in which the sum of the content score and the continuous score is maximum or an approximate value of the maximum; and summarizing the text to be input.
