摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode formed on the surface of an electrolyte of a solid oxide having proton conductivity, hardly peeled therefrom and having low electrode reaction resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The electrode is formed on the surface of an electrolyte of the solid oxide having proton conductivity. The surface of the electrolyte is porous. The electrode is formed by electroless plating performed on the surface of the electrolyte. The surface of the solid electrolyte is made porous by acid etching with a hydrochloric acid, a phosphoric acid, a hypophosphorous acid or the like.
