<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device for a battery temperature control system for EV or HEV, which can prevent electrification due to conduction between battery terminals at vehicle collision. <P>SOLUTION: The temperature control system of a battery for a vehicle includes: a first heat exchanging part 1 which includes a first heat exchange part 2 in which a pipe 3 is charged with a liquid heat medium and which exchanges heat with a battery B via the heat medium; and a second heat exchanging part 20 which includes a second heat exchanging part 21 which radiates or releases the heat medium subjected to heat exchange with the first heat exchanging part 2. The temperature control system includes: a shock detection means 30 which issues a shock signal at vehicle collision; a compressed gas supply device 40 which releases a compressed gas into the piping 3 when the shock signal is issued; and a discharge part 4 which is provided to discharge the heat medium charged in the piping to the outside of the piping 3. When the shock detection means 30 detects a shock, it discharges the heat medium in the first heat exchanging part 2 to the outside of the piping from a discharge part 4 by the compressed gas discharged from the compressed gas supply device 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
