PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding material excellent in impact resistance, flame retardancy, and evaporation performance. SOLUTION: The molding material comprises a cellulose derivative containing at least one group wherein a hydrogen atom of a hydroxy group contained in a cellulose is substituted with a hydrocarbon group: -RA, and at least one group wherein a hydrogen atom of a hydroxy group contained in a cellulose is substituted with an acyl group: -CO-RB(wherein RBrepresents a hydrocarbon group); a plasticizer having a molecular weight of≥500; and a flame retardant.
