PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer system capable of excellently correcting deflection of expansion means. SOLUTION: This transfer system 1 includes a base 80 movable to respectively opposed positions of a plurality of storage shelves 97, the expansion means 110 and 120 integrally moving with the base 80 and receiving-delivering an article W between the storage shelves 97 and themselves by expanding or shortening along the horizontal first direction (the longitudinal direction), detection surfaces 203 and 204 fixed to the tip side of the expansion means 110, etc. and changing an inclinationθin response to the deflection by setting the inclinationθto zero orthogonally to the first direction in a state of having no deflection in the vertical direction to the first direction of the expansion means 110, etc., an inclination measuring means 200 fixed to the base 80 and measuring the inclinationθof the detection surfaces 203, etc. in a noncontact state by being positioned on virtual lines K1 and K2 crossing with the detection surfaces 203, etc. by extending in parallel to the first direction, and correction means 310 and 320 for correcting the deflection by changing an attitude of the expansion means 110, etc. in response to the inclinationθwhen the inclinationθis not zero.
