PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid storage tank capable of preventing corrosion or the like, withstanding the pressure and the self weight in an expanding direction, and achieving reduced weight and price. SOLUTION: A resin lid member 3 is provided on the upper side of a resin tank body 2 opened at the upper end. A flange part 7 expanded to the outer circumferential side is formed on an opening end of the tank body 2, and jointed with a jointing section 8 of the lid member 3. There are provided a resin molded article 4 containing reinforcing fibers which has a fitting recess 14 for fitting a lower end of the tank body 2 to cover the lower end of the tank body 2, and a resin molded article 5 containing reinforcing fibers to cover the lid member 3. A strip-like reinforcing member 6 formed of reinforcing fiber containing fiber is wound around the outer wall part of the side circumference of the tank body 2, and resin coating is executed around the reinforcing member 6 to form a liquid storage tank 1. The flange part 7 is formed as a tank supporting section which is locked on a tank holding part 21 arranged under the flange part 7 to hold the liquid storage tank 1 and has a function of supporting the liquid storage tank 1.
