PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the cross talk between ink chambers in an inkjet head. SOLUTION: The inkjet head has an ink supply channel with a supply port for supplying the ink from outside, and two or more ink chambers connected with the ink supply channel. The ink chamber has a piezoelectric element which applies a pressure to the ink, and a nozzle for ejecting the ink. The ink jet head further includes a piezoelectric plate to which two or more piezoelectric elements are fixed and which constitutes a top surface of the ink chamber, a nozzle plate in which two or more nozzles are formed and which constitutes a bottom surface of the ink chamber, and partition walls which constitute the side surfaces of the ink chambers and are arranged between the ink chambers. The piezoelectric element is not in contact with the partition wall, and the partition wall is not connected with the piezoelectric plate. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
