PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring accurately a two-dimensional or three-dimensional temperature distribution of the surface or the inside of a medium using a noncontact type ultrasonic measuring procedure. SOLUTION: In this temperature measuring method using an ultrasonic wave, the ultrasonic wave is excited in a medium 2 wherein a relational expression v(T) between velocity of the ultrasonic wave and a temperature is determined beforehand, and the ultrasonic wave propagated through the medium 2 is detected in the noncontact state, and the two-dimensional or three-dimensional temperature distribution of the medium 2 is calculated. In the method, an excitation point E<SB>1</SB>-E<SB>7</SB>of the ultrasonic wave is moved, while fixing a detection point D of the ultrasonic wave, and a propagation time t<SB>L</SB>of the ultrasonic wave between the excitation point and the detection point D is calculated. In order to calculate the two-dimensional or three-dimensional temperature distribution of the medium 2, each one-dimensional temperature distribution between each point E<SB>1</SB>-E<SB>7</SB>of the excitation point and the detection point is calculated respectively by numerical analysis. In the numerical analysis, the relational expression v(T) and the propagation time t<SB>L</SB>are utilized. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
