<p>A cooking device comprises: a top plate (2) upon which a container (3) is placed; heating devices (7, 8) which are below the top plate (2); electrodes (15, 16) which are provided on the bottom surface of the top plate (2), and comprise boil over detection units (18, 23) which are placed in the vicinity of the periphery of the top plate (2) which is located above the heating devices (7, 8), contact parts (21, 26) which supply alternating current for the boil over detection units (18, 23), and connectors (20, 25) which provide connections between the contact parts (21, 26) and one end of the boil over detection units (18, 23); an electrode capacitance detection device (13) which detects changes in capacitance of the boil over detection units (18, 23); and a control device (9) which controls the heating devices (7, 8) on the basis of changes in capacitance detected by the electrode capacitance detection device (13). The contact parts (21, 26) are provided on the front-surface side of the cooking device at a location further from the heating devices (7, 8) than the boil over detection units (18, 23). The connectors (20, 25) pass along the outer peripheral side of the boil over detection units (18, 23).</p> |
