<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a dimensional change of an opening/closing mechanism part due to a change in the lapse of time by reducing a stress applied to the opening/closing mechanism part of a projection mirror. <P>SOLUTION: The opening/closing mechanism part 5 performs: a first opening operation for opening the projection mirror up to open end stopping position when subjecting the projection mirror 3 to opening operation; a return operation for applying a driving force in the reverse direction to the first opening operation after stopping the projection mirror; and a second opening operation for further opening the projection mirror up to the open end stopping position. Here, the driving force at the open end stopping position in the second opening operation is made to be smaller than the driving force at the open end stopping position in the first opening operation. When an overcurrent detection part detects that a motor driving current exceeds a threshold, the opening/closing operation of the projection mirror is stopped.
