<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To previously prevent a drop of a motor service lifetime and the occurrence of a motor failure by suppressing heat-generation (a temperature rise) of a motor even if a user repeats power-ON/OFF operation just for fun or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A motor controlling device is configured as follows. In the initial drive after power-ON, one round of switching of energized phases of a motor 12 is completed on a prescribed time schedule so as to count the edges of an output signal of an encoder 46 and to learn a correspondence relationship among the encoder count value, the rotor rotation position, and the energized phase at the end of the initial drive. In the subsequent normal drive, the energized phase is determined on the basis of the encoder count value and the learning result at the end of the initial drive. After the end of the initial drive, execution of the initial drive is prohibited until the elapse of a prescribed prohibition period so as to prevent the initial drive to be repeatedly executed even if a user repeats power-ON/OFF operation just for fun or the like. Even if the power-ON/OFF operation is executed in the prohibition period after the end of the initial drive, power supply to a range switching control device 42 is continued without disconnecting a main relay 51. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
