<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode catheter capable of maintaining the arrangement state (for instance, the state in which two catheter distal end parts go over the ablation line) of catheter distal end parts relative to an ablation line adjusted before bending the distal end part of a catheter body even when it is bent. <P>SOLUTION: The electrode catheter includes: a catheter body 10 having at least one inner hole; a control handle 20 connected to the proximal end of the catheter body 10; four catheter distal end parts 31, 32, 33 and 34 extending at equal angle intervals along the circumferential direction of the axis of the catheter body from the distal end of the catheter body 10; electrodes mounted on the respective catheter distal end parts; and a deflection mechanism for bending the distal end part of the catheter body 10 in directions (A direction/B direction) bisecting angles formed by the two adjacent catheter distal end parts 32, 33/34, 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
