<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deal with requirements from many users who want to use dispersion light-emission in the halfway of an optical fiber cable depending on usage, since a principal usage of the optical fiber is generally intended to be a transmission of the light from a terminal to a terminal and the dispersion light-emission in the half way of the cable is not carried out. <P>SOLUTION: Either during manufacturing or after completion of manufacturing the optical cable, by making a flaw, a crack or unevenness to the inside or side surface in the half way portion of the optical cable, the dispersion light can be emitted easily from that part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
