PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a so-called one-time push-button lock that enables a new personal identification number to be set by cancelling an old personal identification number in each locking/unlocking operation, and which prevents an unlocked state from being caused by the nonsetting of the new personal identification number after the cancellation of the old personal identification number. SOLUTION: An idle fixing plate 1 crossing a button shaft A is arranged in such a manner as to be movable in one direction; an insertion hole 2, which enables the loose movement of the button shaft A, is opened in a portion of the idle fixing plate, with which the button shaft A interferes; an inclined edge 7 is formed on the button shaft A on the side of the push button 6 with respect to the insertion hole; and any one of the push buttons 6 protruding on the surface of an outer case is pushed to move the idle fixing plate 1 in the one direction. Alternatively, a slider, which is guided to be movable in the other direction perpendicular to the one direction as the movement direction of the idle fixing plate and which can be moved in the other direction in synchronization with an operation of a push-button lock operation member, is arranged in the outer case, and released by the movement of the idle fixing plate.
