PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deploy a disk image to a server quickly. SOLUTION: A server system includes a storage apparatus having a storage area for storing a disk image, and a plurality of servers networked to the storage apparatus. A deploy management means holds storage area information including the volume and priority of storage areas with replicated disk images, for managing replicated storage areas, replicates storage areas storing disk images in the free area of the storage apparatus, and according to the storage area information, replicates the storage area storing a disk image specified to be deployed to the free area of the storage apparatus if there are no storage areas replicating the disk image specified to be deployed in the free area of the storage apparatus and, when the free area of the storage apparatus runs short, selects and deletes low priority storage areas.
