PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner improving low temperature fixability, glossiness and coloring power and suppressing fogging over a long term when magenta toner using a plurality of pigments is manufactured by a suspension polymerization method. SOLUTION: The magenta toner contains toner particles obtained by adding a polymerizable monomer composition that at least includes a polymerizable monomer, a magenta pigment (a), a magenta pigment (b), wax, a resin (c) having carboxyl groups and a resin (d) having carboxyl groups to an aqueous medium, granulating the polymerizable monomer composition in the aqueous medium to form particles of the polymerizable monomer composition and polymerizing the polymerizable monomers contained in the particles, wherein the content of the resin (c), the content of the resin (d), interfacial tension of the pigment (a), interfacial tension of the pigment (b), interfacial tension of the resin (c) and interfacial tension of the resin (d) satisfy the specified relation.
