PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevating device, and the like, capable of lifting and lowering a shaft, in a gap between narrow long-distance space gaps. SOLUTION: A typical constitution of the elevating device 202 includes a shaft 212a, capable of connecting a plurality of pieces in the axial direction; a placing section 234 the shaft 212a is placed in a state of standing; an elevating section 236 lifting and lowering the placing section 234 up and down; a guiding section 238 supporting the shaft 212a to guide in vertical direction; and a fixing section 240 fixing the shaft 212a temporarily, and is such that it allows replenishment of additional shaft 212b to the lower end of the shaft 212a, which is fastened with the fixing section 240.
