A DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHING APPARATUS, AND A METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A digital photographing device and method for controlling the same are provided to make a flash light emitting amount the same for each line even in a high shutter by determining an exposure light amount and an exposure light start suitable according to a time due to an exposure starting time from an optical sensor. CONSTITUTION: A shutter(121) controls the exposure amount of an image sensor. A light measuring unit measures the exposure amount while being arranged within a non-valid area. A comparison and judgment unit compares whether the exposure amount measured at the light measuring unit copes with a standard exposure amount or not. A shutter control unit adjusts operation of a shutter suitable for the standard exposure amount if it does not correspond to the comparing determination result.
