PURPOSE: An economizer and a multistage compression refrigerating machine therewith are provided to stabilize the movement of refrigerants by preventing the intense movement of a refrigerant inlet from being transferred to a refrigerant outlet. CONSTITUTION: An economizer comprises a moving body(100), a refrigerant inlet(101), a refrigerant liquid outlet(102), and a refrigerant steam outlet(103). The moving body has a volume which can maintain the level of refrigerants. The refrigerant inlet is formed in one side of the moving body. The refrigerant liquid outlet is formed in one side of the moving body to be separated from the refrigerant inlet. The refrigerant steam outlet is formed in one side of the moving body to be separated from the refrigerant inlet. Porous walls(200) having multiple inlet holes are installed inside the moving body to stabilize the movement of refrigerants flowing from the refrigerant inlet to the refrigerant liquid and steam outlets.
