AUTOMOBILE LPG FUEL SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An LPG fuel system for a vehicle is provided to improve the efficiency and durability of a fuel pump by maintaining the LPG fuel, which is delivered by a fuel pump installed in a fuel tank, below the set pressure. CONSTITUTION: An LPG fuel system for a vehicle comprises a fuel tank(10), a fuel pump(20), a supply pipe(60), a solenoid valve(30), an engine part(40), a return pipe(70), and a regulator(50). The fuel tank stores LPG fuel and is equipped with a first pressure sensor for measuring the internal pressure. The fuel pump is installed inside the fuel tank to transfer the stored LPG fuel and equipped with a second pressure sensor for measuring the pressure of the transferred LPG fuel on the outlet side. The supply pipe is connected to the fuel pump and transfers the LPG fuel to the engine part. The solenoid valve is installed in the supply pipe to allow or block the transfer of LPG fuel. The engine part is connected to the supply pipe connected to the solenoid valve and injects the transferred LPG fuel through a plurality of injectors. The return pipe is connected to the injectors of the engine part and delivers the remaining LPG fuel to the fuel tank. The regulator is installed in the return pipe, is equipped with a third pressure sensor for measuring the pressure of the transferred LPG fuel on the inlet side, and controls the pressure of LPG fuel drawn in.
