Method for error treatment of a computer system

The method involves outputting error signals during occurrence of a deviation of output signals of execution units. A program is switched between volumes (1100, 1200) of program parts (1101-1103, 1201-1203) describing a function during occurrence of the error signals. A faulty working unit is switched off during occurrence of the error signals. One of the volumes of the program parts is processed by a faultless working unit, where the volume of the program parts includes basic functionality of a computer system. The volumes of the program parts are differentiated in functional features. An independent claim is also included for a device for troubleshooting a computer system.
