A support for a shirt-collar comprises in one form, Fig. 1, two curved parts 1, 2 adapted to be positioned beneath the wings of the collar and hinged together adjacent the collar stud or button on an axis 6 parallel to the axis of the collar band. In a second form, Figs. 4 and 5, the hinge pin 6 carries slotted forks 11 engaged by a transverse pin 14 passing through a link 12 which carries a perpendicular pin 16 forming a pivot for two spring bands 18, 19 adapted to be positioned within the collar band. The band 19 is formed with notches 20 cooperating with a projection 21 on the band 18, whereby the bands may be adjusted to stretch the collar band. |
