A method of manufacturing a tubular wind turbine tower structure, comprising the steps of: providing a plurality of tubular tower structure sub-sections at a movable wind turbine tower structure production facility; and welding the plurality of tubular sub-sections together to form the tubular wind turbine tower structure. Hereby, a rational production of the wind turbine tower structures can be achieved while at the same time facilitating road transport of material for the towers. |
