<p>PURPOSE: A wire rope assembly device for a rockfall protection mesh is provided to disperse the load of crushed rock applied to a rockfall protection mesh through wire ropes which are installed in two rows to cross each other. CONSTITUTION: A wire rope assembly device for a rockfall protection mesh comprises a cross-shaped support piece(22). The support piece has an arc groove(23) which partially encloses a wire rope(W) and a fixing element(24) which is coupled to the upper side of the arc groove by a bolt(30) and a nut(31) in order to secure the wire rope placed on the arc groove. The fixing element has an arc groove(25) corresponding to the arc groove of the support piece.</p> |
