PURPOSE: A connector is provided to enable a receptacle contact hold the contact part of a plug connector. CONSTITUTION: A receptacle contact has an elastic transformation portion(96). According to the reduction of an upper and a lower dimensions of a connector, the receptacle contact is tightly contacted with the contact part(54) of the plug connector. A contact protrusion portion(102) of the receptacle contact is inserted to a holding recess portion(55) of the plug contact. Thereby the contact force between the receptacle contact and the plug contact is improved.
