What is described is an LED lighting device (light emitting diode), in particular for tunnels. According to the invention, the device comprises a base body (2) with cooling lamella (3) at least on one of the sides thereof, LEDs (5) that are fastened to one side of the base body (2) and that are fed from the outside from an electrical energy source through one or more power lines (8), optionally light reflectors (6) disposed on the LEDs (5), and a transparent cover (4), wherein the base body (2) and the cover (4) form a hermetically sealed chamber and wherein the hermetically sealed inner chamber is connected to at least one expansion vessel. |
