Perioperative bi-spectral optical probe

The probe has an excitation lighting source (20) i.e. laser source, and a visible lighting source (30) i.e. white LED, to illuminate a common intervention zone (1) i.e. abdominal cavity. Photosensitive array sensors (51, 52) are arranged so that images in fluorescence and visible spectra of the zone are formed on respective photosensitive surfaces of the sensors, when the probe is arranged at a preset distance from the zone. The visible source has an analyzer arranged upstream of one of the sensors, where a polarization direction of the analyzer is perpendicular to that of a polarizing filter. The array sensors are charge coupled device sensors or complementary metal oxide semiconductor sensors. The polarizing filter is Vikuiti(RTM: Anti-glare filter) and HN 32(RTM: neutral linear polarizing filter).
