<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antireflection film, a polarizing plate and an image display apparatus which have high durability, excellent high-definition drawing property, antireflection property, antidazzle property and stainproof property and which can be manufactured with high productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The antireflection film comprises a transparent supporting body and an antireflection layer formed thereon. The antireflection layer has a low refractive index layer having a lower refractive index than that of the transparent supporting body and constituting the uppermost layer.
