PURPOSE: A method for computationally and efficiently obtaining of a control word using transformations in a receiver is provided to reduce the number of calculations. CONSTITUTION: A cache control module intercepts a converted control word and a seed. The cache control module searches a conversion function and a control word from a cache memory. If the control word is found in the cache memory, the cache control module offers the control word to the output of the transfer function. If the control word is not detected in the cache memory, the cache control module offers the control word and seed to the transfer function. |
