PURPOSE: A steel plate composite beam for a steel-concrete composite beam for story height reduction is provided to satisfy allowable deflection without installation of temporary columns by using a plurality of shear reinforcements and reinforcement steel. CONSTITUTION: A steel plate composite beam for a steel-concrete composite beam for story height reduction comprises a lower steel plate(13), side vertical steel plates(10) which are vertically welded to both sides of the lower steel plate, support steel plates(11) which are horizontally extended outward from the top of the side vertical steel plates, a plurality of side reinforcement steel plates(21) whose one end and one lateral side are respectively welded to the lower steel plate and the side vertical steel plate and the other end is extended above the side vertical plate, and an upper steel plate(12) which is welded to the other end of the side reinforcement steel plates.
