PURPOSE: A handrail cleaning apparatus is provided to reduce maintenance and repair time by sensing the residual of cleaning agents or coating agents stored in a cleaning tank or coating tank. CONSTITUTION: A cleaning body(102) is received in a part of a handrail(101). A power supply unit is mounted in a cleaning body and supplies power. A cleaning unit is mounted in the cleaning body and includes a cleaning roller. The cleaning roller is mounted on the lower side of the handrail and horizontally moves according to a power supply signal of the power supply unit. A heating unit is mounted in the cleaning body and is separated from the power supply unit and the cleaning unit. The heating unit dries the handrail cleaned by the cleaning unit.
