PURPOSE: A gear shifting device for a chainless bicycle is provided to lock or unlock parts of multiple driven bevel gears by controlling the position of a rolling unit. CONSTITUTION: A gear shifting device for a chainless bicycle comprises a drive assembly(21), a driven bevel gear assembly(300), a driven shaft(221), a sliding member(3), and a shifting unit. The drive assembly is installed in a crank connected to a pedal. Multiple drive bevel gears are arranged on the drive assembly. The driven bevel gear assembly is composed of multiple driven bevel gears meshed with the drive bevel gears. The driven shaft is coupled to the driven bevel gear assembly. A slit is formed on the outer surface of the driven shaft. The sliding member is inserted into the slit of the sliding member and is coupled or separated to/from the driven bevel gear assembly. The shifting unit controls the locking or unlocking of the driven shaft and the driven bevel gear assembly. |
