A modular housing for candles is solving the problem presented so that the housing comprises the upper and the lower part. The lower part contains a burning module, which depends on individual fuel and the way of burning, and the upper part comprises a number of openings for the passage of air, which is required for burning and defogging. The burning module according to the invention uses various kinds of fuel. These can be paraffin, liquid paraffin, a plant product (palm oil, palm wax, soy wax, sunflower oil, rapeseed oil etc., commonly natural wax), beeswax (natural wax) or another suitable hydrocarbon or a battery/electronic/electric lighting system. Paraffin, preferentially, can be found in a special inlet that is inserted into the lower part of the housing, or it can fill the whole lower housing, regardless of paraffin (or another suitable hydrocarbon) being in a solid or a liquid state (e.g. liquid paraffin). On the top, the upper part is wearing a cover resistant to elevated temperatures, which can be made of metal, synthetic material or plastics. There are two kinds of openings under the cover. Openings close to the cover are mostly intended for the exit of smoke gases and openings under these openings are intended mostly for the entry of cooling air. Beside these openings, circumferential openings intended preferentially for the entry of fresh air for the purpose of combustion may also exist in a special embodiment.
|
