COMMUNICATION METHOD USING LAYER SHIFT IN A MIMO SYSTEM AND APPARATUS THEREOF

PURPOSE: A method and device for communicating a layer shifting are provided to supply the number of antenna used for transmitting CW#2 and the number of antenna used for transmitting CW#1 as same. CONSTITUTION: A CW to layer mapper(301) maps each of a plurality of coding words in at least one layer. An MIMO precoder(314) transmits at least one layer especially mapped per plurality of codeword by the layer mapper through the same number of antenna. A layer shifter(307) rearranges mapped layers about each of a plurality of coding words by the layer mapper. The layer shifter provides the rearranged layers to the MIMO precoder.
