Disclosed are azetidine derivatives represented by general formula (I), or pharmaceutically salts thereof, wherein W is CR2 or nitrogen. Also disclosed is the use of the compounds of formula (I) for treating a disease or condition in which GPR119 plays a role, obesity, diabetes, metabolic syndrome (syndrome X), impaired glucose tolerance, hyperlipidemia, hypertriglyceridemia, hypercholesterolemia, low HDL levels or hypertension.
