A chair (40) for supporting an edge-lift anchor is disclosed. The edge-lift anchor is used in lifting a concrete component the anchor having a head portion (28) to engage with the clutch of a lifting system and a body portion (20, 22) for embedding within the concrete component. The chair (40) is arranged to sit on an underlying casting surface such that the chair (40) supports the edge-lift anchor relative to the underlying casting surface during casting.
