<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The antenna has a reversible reflector (10) with two separate reflecting surfaces (R1, R2) shaped geometrically to respectively cover different geographical zones. Two independent radiofrequency signal sources (S1, S2) are arranged in a fixed configuration and connected to separate radio-frequency supply chains (2, 3) defining different and predefined operating frequency planes (F1, F2). The reflector occupies two deployment positions in which focal points of the surfaces are located at a phase center (5) and another phase center of the sources by two motors (M1, M2), respectively. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Antenna for a telecommunication satellite (claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The reflector occupies two deployment positions in which the focal points of the surfaces are located at the phase centers of the sources, respectively, thus focusing the corresponding source, irrespective of the configuration in which the antenna is used, for enabling the reflector to illuminate a selected coverage zone, and hence eliminating losses or aberrations attributable to defocusing. The configuration of the antenna enables achieving optimal radio-frequency performances on two separate coverages and on two different frequency planes. The antenna is simple to implement. The geometry of the antenna does not result from a compromise in terms of performances of the antenna, and enables reducing the ohmic losses. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawing shows a schematic view of an antenna in an aiming direction.
