Disclosed is the use of at least one antibody that selectively binds to an oxidised epitope of ApoB100 or an oxidised lipid epitope of LDL in the preparation of a medicament that induces regression of atherosclerotic plaques in an individual who has a cardiovascular disease associated with atherosclerosis selected from myocardial infarction and stroke.
