A paver support and method of use for laying pavers is disclosed. Each paver support is in the form of an open framework (1) having a paver bed (2) and a plurality of legs (3). The bed has a plurality of screw threaded holes (4) complimentary with screw threads of the legs (3). On turning the legs (3), a greater or smaller amount of the length of the legs (3) can extend from on one side or the other desired to enable the bed (2) to be levelled or inclined. Multiple supports may be placed side by side to form a large paver bed (2). In the method the support is placed, levelled and the void under filled with a filler or particulate material before pavers are placed on the bed (2).
