A two part assembly is disclosed for an elongate strip such as a slat, for use in slatting or latticework. The assembly comprises a base member, to be fastened to a support by a fastening means (such as a rivet), and a cover member to hide the fastening means from view. This is stated to improve the appearance of the resulting structure. It also provides other advantages such as in the maintenance of the structure. |
