Disclosed is a specific anti-glypican 3 antibody comprising three heavy chain CDRs and three light chain CDRs as defined in the specification. The disclosed antibody is capable of binding an epitope comprising the amino acid sequence GNSQQATPKDNEISTFHNLGNVHSPLK and is used in the treatment of cancer, in particular hepatoma.
