The mechanism has a tubular sleeve (12) surrounding a lower part (3) of a tubular body (1) made of aluminum. An inner periphery of the sleeve is equipped with a helix groove (13) in which outer spurs (10) are arranged to transform rotational movement of the groove by vertical displacement of a slide valve in the body. The valve has a tubular geometry so as to form an axial duct from the opening until at innerside of a receiving bucket (6). External dimension of the sleeve is equal to external dimension of the upper part of the body. An independent claim is also included for a lipstick application case comprising a base mounted around a sleeve.
