The invention relates to a modular structure bearing solar panels, intended to support solar panels in an inclined plane. The structure comprises an inclined support base formed by a set of parallel upper purlins (1) which are secured perpendicularly to inclined parallel lower lintels (2). The upper purlins (1) are secured using main clamps (3) combined with anchoring elements, said main clamps clasping the upper purlins (1) in the areas in which they intersect the lower lintels (2). The solar panels (6) are locked in position on the upper purlins (1) on which they rest, by means of bolts (8) and anchoring clamps that secure the solar panels (6) to the upper purlins (1).
