<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive transmission device that suppresses the occurrence of variation in speed of a rotary body to which a drive transmission member transmits driving force, that enables an increase in size, production cost and assembling cost of the device to be suppressed, and suppresses uneven drive transmission, and to provide an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: An idler gear 9K can be accurately assembled to a side plate by accurately assembling a photoreceptor gear 4K to the side plate by attaching the idler gear 9K to the photoreceptor gear 4k through a retaining member 11K. Thus, the assembling cost can be reduced and uneven drive transmission can be suppressed compared to a case wherein each of photoreceptor gear 4K and a plurality of gears in a developing gear train are individually accurately assembled to the side plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
