<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an application and a printer driver to cooperatively operate in the same way as the printer driver used to cooperatively operate in a conventional manner without changing the application, or without forcing a user to perform any complicate work when newly introducing the printer driver. <P>SOLUTION: When determining that an already introduced printer driver exists (S1), and determining that the printer driver B as the object of succession of ID has been selected (S2), the control part of a PC investigates the presence/absence of the correspondence relation of choices between a newly introduced printer driver A and the printer driver B (S3), and when determining that there exists any choice having the correspondence relation between the printer driver A and the printer driver B (S4), the control part of the PC changes the ID of a default corresponding to the choice of the newly introduced printer driver to the ID corresponding to the choice having the correspondence relation with the printer driver selected as the object of succession of the ID (S5), and ends this processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
