PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for camera with which a person as a subject is allowed to clearly confirm the state of photographing his/her own facial expression during photographing. SOLUTION: A display device for a camera (2) includes: an imaging section for photographing a subject through a photographing lens and outputting image data; a detection section for detecting a facial expression of the subject based on an image of the image data; and a first display section (1) for displaying information indicating the facial expression detected by the detection section toward a person who is the subject.
