PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opto-electric composite cable with a small sized substrate, wherein a shield layer is satisfactorily made conductive to the ground of the substrate, and a sufficient connection state to the substrate is secured. SOLUTION: An end part of the opto-electric composite cable 12 is arranged within a plane arranged with the substrate 14, an optical fiber coated fiber 33 is connected to an opto-electric conversion element 15 on a surface of the substrate 14, an electric wire 34 is connected to a reverse face of the substrate 14, a cut-out part 41 arranged with an end part of the opto-electric composite cable 12 is formed in one part of an edge part of the substrate 14, in this opto-electric composite cable 11 with the substrate. The shield layer 36 exposed in a part arranged in the cut-out part 41 is clamped from both face sides of the substrate 14, by clamp members 51, 52 comprising a conductive material fixed in both face sides of the substrate 14, in the opto-electric composite cable 12, the clamp members 51, 52 are connected to a ground pattern 42 of the substrate 14, and the shield layer 36 is made conductive with the ground pattern 42 via the clamp members 51, 52.
