PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distance measuring device for accurately measuring a relative distance at low cost. SOLUTION: A distance between an interrogator 101 and a transponder 102 is measured with high accuracy by: sending a radio signal including a first distance measurement signal from the interrogator 101; receiving the radio signal by a first antenna 25a of the transponder 102 to reproduce the first distance measurement signal; forming a second measurement signal by dividing the frequency; reflecting or absorbing the radio signal by a second antenna 25b to resend an ASK-modulated radio signal; receiving the signal by the interrogator 101 to reproduce the second measurement signal; and measuring the phase of the reproduced second measurement signal on the basis of the first measurement signal.
